DAP - Delivered At Place

Under the Delivered At Place (DAP) Incoterms rules, the seller is answerable for the delivery of the merchandise, prepared for unloading, on the named section of the destination.
The supplier assumes all dangers involved up to unload. Unloading is on the buyer’s likelihood and value.
DAP can follow to any and over one mode of transport. The shopper and merchant have to be compelled to specify and agree upon the suitable unloading spot on the named place of destination.
Unless otherwise united between each party, the seller cannot request remuneration for unloading charges incurred under the agreement of carriage.

 DAP tips would like the seller to clear things for export, whereby applicable, with none responsibility to clear the merchandise for import, pay import responsibility or perform import customs formalities.

  • Onward carriage and transport to the shopper (depending on the named region)
